Past few days

Tuesday: 6 mile bike (cranks), core power yoga, massage

A great day to say the least.  Started on the Powercranks again, only 6 miles because we needed to get to yoga.  Which kicked my butt.  Didn’t realize how unflexible I’ve become.  Good class though, signed up for another 5 session block.

Massage with Jess in the afternoon.  Worked the full body, first massage since before Ironman.  I really have been spoiled receiving it weekly.  Thanks Jess!

Wednesday: 1500 yard swim, 4 mile run

Runs have been difficult to get my heart rate down.  Each run has been mid to high z2 when it feels like I’m just jogging.  Maybe I’m still tired or my body hasn’t adapted yet from the effort at Ironman.  Not worried, I begin all over again next week.  Met with Craig today and he mapped out the next 20 weeks leading up to IMAZ.  Lots of different workouts thrown in there, along with a new strategy.  I’m not going to reveal it till later, the focus, the time goals, etc…  Need to get down to work and not worry about that stuff.
